What’s on in Cornwall this October
October seems to be a rather busy month here in Cornwall with so many things to look forward too. Therefore enjoying the start of the Autumn festivities.
Proms at the Minack Theatre
Performances on 2nd October 2pm and 8pm
This is the last night to enjoy the proms with the stunning backdrop of the sea and the spectacular surroundings of the Minack Theatre. Bring your horns, whistles and flags then join in with the traditional proms ambience presented by the Mount Charles Band.
Please note: Because of the Autumn temperatures wrap up warm and bring a blanket to snuggle up in whilst sitting on a comfy pillow or cushion and enjoy this amazing performance.
So this year marks the 20th Anniversary of the famous Oyster Festival. This fantastic festival offers cooking demonstrations as well as food to sample, craft stalls, and music to enjoy, spread out over three days.
Join the celebrations and gather together at the Princess Pavilions for the annul CAMRA beer festival. This event is held over three days and offers you the chance to sample over 200 real ales, ciders, perry’s plus many more.
Who doesn’t love a good book? This festival gives you the chance to revel in literacy delights. With talks from the famous Francesca Simon, creator of Horrid Henry as well as many more best sellers. There will be music and many other events at the festival.
Since this is great for everyone. Why not have a go at pumpkin carving in the stables at Trelissick Gardens. Then enjoy a delightful autumn walk through the woods before ending the day with a delicious treat from the cafe.
