Living in Cornwall we are surrounded by the sea, there is no better time to sample some delightful local crab than in the Summer months.
This recipe is so delicious, easy to make and is a gorgeous summer time snack… Pack it up for a picnic, enjoy it with friends or spoil yourself with a lunch time indulgence..
200g white crab meat
1 red chilli chopped
1 tbsp of chives
1 tbsp of cayenne pepper
Juice of half a lemon
250g butter melted for the topping
Put the crab meat, chilli, chives, cayenne pepper and lemon juice into a mixing bowl and combine
Divide the mixture into ramekin pots
Melt the butter in a pan on a low heat
Remove from heat and pour over your crab mixture
Refrigerate for one hour
Remove from fridge 10 minutes before serving
