A book for June – The Happiness Project

I have recently read this book and I can tell you that it has changed my life..

Gretchen Rubin has a moment of realisation when she was traveling on a bus in the city and from that moment her life was about to change. She cleverly shares her experiences and wisdom with you throughout this book. I love the way she brakes her goals into chunks and tries to accomplish them over 12 months whilst analysing her progress. Her insight and the research she carries out is amazing, informative and interesting. Within the book I totally resonated with the second chapter…

February – Remember love.. Marriage.

I think at times we all take each other for granted, this chapter was fascinating and gave me a real insight into marriage, like Gretchen I have a great marriage, however I found this chapter such an interesting read and used a few of her strategies in my own life.

This book really does show you that with very small steps you can achieve big results and live a happier life. Gretchens enthusiasm will have you sitting with a pen and paper ready to create your very own happiness project. It’s honest, written from the heart, well researched with a friendly feel, it’s also humourous in parts as well as inspiring. I have read this book several times and each time I have learnt something new.

I really hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did and that you gain a little bit of insight into making your life a bit happier.
