The Lookout Restaurant Falmouth

I stumbled across The Lookout when I was strolling through Falmouth looking for a place to have an appetising breakfast. The breakfast in here is amazing, they have a great selection ranging from granola with yogurt, muffins, toast and eggs, sausage or bacon sandwiches, great for everyone, adults, children and vegetarians.

The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff were towards myself and Bella (this is always a must for me when I’m out with my dog). On this particular morning I was lucky enough to get a window seat and saw that they have an outdoor seating area.

I’m looking forward to sitting out there in the summer months sipping wine, with Bella in tow.

Due to this experience I decided I would like to sample their evening menu, so I booked myself and MrP in for dinner. Their evening menu is fantastic it has a great selection of simple, tasty foods. I am a huge fan of tapas, so ordered 3 from their extensive menu. I was so happy with my choice of crab bruschetta, handmade beef burgers and moules (felt like I had a good taste of foods from around the world).

They  are very generous with their portion sizes, everything  was incredibly tasty. Mr P ordered the steak, it came out on a hot rock stone which I hadn’t seen before, you get to slice your steak and cook it yourself (no complaints to the chef!!) you can have it as rare or as well done as you would prefer.

I thought this was a really brilliant way to serve, it gave the evening a different feel and Mr P was very impressed, as was I .

This restaurant has a fantastic natural rustic charm about it which we both love.
I would highly recommend eating here for any time of the day, it serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals, children and dogs are welcome…. I will definately be returning.
