Homemade Granola

I can often become a little unimaginative with my breakfast, I’m always in a hurry and want something quick and tasty I can eat before flying out of the door to get to work for 7.30 am. I have tried and tested this granola recipe again and again it’s so delicious, you can have it with milk or yoghurt it’s incredible and easy to make.



3 Cups of shredded coconut

2 Cups of any nuts

2 Tablespoons of seeds (I tend to use chia)

1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon or allspice

80-100g Coconut oil or butter

3 Tablespoons of rice syrup (this depends how sweet you would like it)



Pre heat oven to 120 C/250F/Gas 1/2

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Put all of the ingredients in a bowl and give it a good stir make sure all ingredients are coated

Pour ingredients onto your baking tray and spread out evenly

Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through your cooking time

Remove from the oven

Leave to cool and set

Put into an airtight container, and


This is a great way to start your day with lots of nuts and seeds full of good oils, a yummy satisfying healthy breakfast.
