Since as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed reading. Finding a fantastic book with a great story line that is going to transport me to another world. I love to read and I find it incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. Reading is fundamental to us in our society, reading instructions, filling out application forms or following a map, they all require the ability to read.

A Book for July – The Law of Attraction

You know sometimes when you read a book and think how has it taken me so long to find it. That is exactly what happened to me when I read the Law of Attraction by Kenneth Griffin. Kenneth clearly has had a terrible childhood subjected to abuse and negativity which transpired throughout his life, that was until he understood the power of the law of attraction. He writes about his personnel experiences which will trigger your emotions, it’s a powerful, moving read, heart breaking in parts!

A book for June – The Happiness Project

I have recently read this book and I can tell you that it has changed my life..

Gretchen Rubin has a moment of realisation when she was traveling on a bus in the city and from that moment her life was about to change. She cleverly shares her experiences and wisdom with you throughout this book. I love the way she brakes her goals into chunks and tries to accomplish them over 12 months whilst analysing her progress. Her insight and the research she carries out is amazing, informative and interesting. Within the book I totally resonated with the second chapter…

A Book For May – I Quit Sugar

After launching a book of the month in April, I was wondering which book to select for May, there are so many fabulous and interesting reads to choose from… However, I quit sugar around this time last year and with so much media attention and the sugar tax I thought this would be a fantastic book to share. This superb, insightful read is called I Quit Sugar, this has helped to wean me off of my sugar addiction and curb my sweet cravings. Sarah Wilson has some good tips, helpful guides and delicious recipes to support you through this transition.
