I’m all about healthy eating but don’t want to spend a lot of time or money on making nutrious food. Whilst making a few changes to my diet I also decided to eliminate pasta. This was not for any particular health reason, I just wanted to eat more vegetables. I try to trick my brain a little, if I give something up I need a replacement for it. What could I use to make vegetable pasta? I saw this little Julienne Peeler in a magazine and thought I would give it a try.
It was under £5 so my expectations were not very high, but hey I’ll give any thing a go! To my utter suprise this gadget is amazing, it sliced through courgettes with no difficulty, my pasta substitute was right there! So what else can I use this little gadget for, I started to experiment and now I use it to make my own stir fries and salads.
Also if I’m wanting a quick snack I will slice a selection of vegetables drizzle a little oil over them and pop them in the oven, fantastic healthy snacks to have throughout the day.
This really is a useful kitchen gadget, it’s sharp, glides through any vegetables, easy to use, dishwasher safe and a must have for those wanting a quick and easy healthy snack or meal.
